Experience the Italian Community while promoting the Italian culture that is active in Arizona. During the month of April there will be events throughout the Valle del Sole that will be of interest to Italians or anyone fascinated by Italy and all things Italian. Throughout the month of April, the Italian Festival will feature the specialties of Italian culture including music, dance, culinary experiences, language, artists, historians, literary scholars, musicians, film, and cuisine that is already in our community. The Festival will be presented in venues throughout the valley including performing arts theatres, galleries, and restaurants.

Celebrate Oktoberfest Bavarian-Style. long tables papered in Bavarian blue &
white where you'll meet your neighbors and make new friends as you sing
along with old-time drinking songs and feast on sausage, kraut and authentic
German beer! Polka Dance Contest; "Best Dressed" Oktoberfest; Sauerkraut
Cooking Contest; Beer Stein Holding, and Alphorn Blowing! Bring the kids!
They'll have fun trying to blow the Alphorn, and there are all sorts of fun
kids activities in Kids Village. FREE Inflatables, German/English coloring
books, Climbing Wall and more. Non-stop entertainment, featuring the
Guggenbach Baum band, direct from Gundelsheim Germany along with local
musicians and dancers.

Celebration of the Arizona Wine Growers Reception

Cost is $125 per person.
Celebrate with the Arizona Wine Growers Association at Quiessence Restaurant a hidden treasure at The Farm at South Mountain. Enjoy passed and stationed hors d'ouevres prepared by Executive Chef Greg LaPrad, one of Arizona wines earliest supporters who is committed to seasonal, local, and organic produce. Mingle and meet the honored Arizona Grower's Cup and Winemaker's Medal award winners while sampling the top scoring wines from the 2011 competition. The Greater Phoenix Area celebrates Cinco de Mayo not with one large festival but several smaller ones spread across the city and its suburbs. Visitors can head to Cesar Chavez Plaza in downtown Phoenix for a mass of Mexican exhibits, entertainment and vendors, or hit Chandler, Mesa or Scottsdale for other festivities.
